Hey guys I've notice s steady hydraulic oil leak coming from a breather vent just In front of the valve body on my 246B where can this oil be coming from? , I took the breather off and cleaned it but it still leaks .
Have you checked that the oil level in the chaincase is correct.? Between the title of the thread you created and the text of your OP it's not exactly clear to what you are referring. A photo taken from a bit further back might help for context. Post a S/N as well please.
There is one on each side. The chain case is being over filled with a leak from the drive motor, on that side. The motor will need removed and resealed.
Hey is there a part number for the seal kit for the drive motor on the 246B Cat ...and will a drive motor from the younger 246 work as a replacement?
Single speed uses different seal kit than 2 speed. Serial number required to pick which one in parts listing.
