Dear avid reader... Here's our issue with our 247b. After using it all day for the past 2 days in 30° weather (Canada), leveling off our property, after shutting it off, no start. Earlier this morning, my wife told me that after the machine ran, there was a chirping noice coming from the key area. Anyone else experience this.
Might want to post the serial number, gurus here will need that. Welcome to HEF, Garfield!!
Thanks for the info...serial to follow......
With the key on and not running there should be an audible beep from the warning alarm. That is normal until the oil pressure comes up. Either that or there’s a bird nest on your roof.
..correct. quickly after that, it seems to die out with all panel lights flashing..
My 287 does that before every startup. Normal.
So does the engine actually start now, or are you in either a "no crank" or a "crank/no start" situation.? Post a photo of the warning light panel when the lights are flashing.
