as title says my cat 279c bucket wont dump, it will curl up and arms will go up and down fine ,but the bucket will not dump just tries to dump a couple of inches and my yellow warning light will come on and stop the control , I can turn park brake on off and it will go couple more inches. Any ideas?
I have a 279c doing near the same thing. Machine drives, etc no warning lights, the boom goes up and down no issues, but when you move right joystick to tilt bucket up or down it locks the hydraulics and flashes the yellow explanation symbol. The boom will not operate. Shut machine off and turn back on, boom operates fine until you move joy stick to the right or left. Tried override, no change. Have jumper in pin 2 & 4 with door removed thinking possible bad door sensor, but no change. Serial number on machine CAT279CTMBT00712. Thanks for your help
