I have a cat 289D and I have a dozer attachment. You use the ALT5 with the scroll button to run the left to right tilt. The wires got between the mask and dozer blades. I cut the smashed wires out and spliced the wires back together. I tested the connector and all is good. The problem is now while holding the AUX 5 button and when you push the scroll button the blade dozer tilt. Any one have problems with this?
Is the dozer attachment on your 289D Cat or an aftermarket product..? If it is Cat then post your machine Serial Number, there may be some wiring help available.
