Cat 305 excavator no hydraulic functions

2006 305 with 2500 hours. Lost all hydraulic functions suddenly. Engine cranks as normal. Pump? Lock out? Linkage? Any thoughts? Thanks! Bryant

    Coupler between pump and flywheel would be my first guess.

    I'm not sure on the 305 as to access, but it's not a tough fix if that's what the problem is. Might be good to check the pilot pressure first as Uffex suggests, unless you have a manually activated valve on your machine, some of them did for an auxiliary function. If anything can be checked manually and it makes something move or the engine pull down, or a marked change in pump noise, then it's not the coupler, it's something in the pilot system.
