Cat 305 excavator no hydraulic functions

   Check that the pump is being driven. You can have a "trained professional mechanic from the dealer" crack one of the pressure lines loose if "he" has no gauges available. If that checks out your pilot interlock solenoid may not be energized. No pilot pressure, no controls. Do the joysticks feel dead?

   Yes dead like machine is off. No tracks either

   had the same problem with my 303.5, it was pump coupling. check arm rest switch also power to solenoids on valve body near pomp.

   Not quite sure where damage is in the pictures. .. never been into one

   I had a 04 305cr ( dgt serries) and had the pump drive go ( rubber drive thing) . Got a we smell of rubber and no drive to any thing. Not a good day !

   Is it just me or does it look like the bolts wore into the pump gear?

   I have the same problem. What's the fix for this? I have a new coupler installed . Thanks
