I believe this is what is called the kickout and positioner. When the loader bucket is curled all the way back and raised to maximum height, the kickout levels the bucket so as not to spill the load on the cab. Well, this kickout is sticking and the bucket will uncurl and continue to do so. Sometimes the kickout will return and sometimes not. Should this kickout have a nice smooth travel to it? I can move it by hand. Sometimes nice and smooth. Others, not so much. Spring is in position. We lubricated it a lot. That helped but it is still not perfect.
