Cat 518 skidder

I have a cat 518 skidder. The motor is all new. The trouble is it holds about 150 psi oil pressure enough to blow the lines off the filter housing

    Most likely oil pump regulator valve stuck or wrong spring for that engine arrangement. Did you use a new pump?
