another 977 question, we were watchin old family slide pictures the other night. i saw pics of dad in lake erie in waterup to his feet doin erosion control with the 977! i yelled out bull*****. i saw in these pics the loader, was submerged! is this possible? or was i seein things?
You would want to take the fan belt off and not get any water into the air cleaner. The fan going through the radiator is not a pretty site. Also check the gearboxes for water. We had to cross a river in South America many times and the water was over the decks on D9Gs but the operators would just idle along.
