Cat c9 acert , did a rebuilt,first start it started right away, tried again no start,let it sit overnight started again ran a few minutes and slowly died,wont start again unless sitting a long time.i can hand pump the fuel to 60 lbs ,as soon as i stop perssure drop to 0 lbs my question is, is the fuel pressure suppose to hold when i stop pumping?

I think you have an injector with a serious leak.
So if hand pump the fuel to 60 lbs The pressure should be consant if not I have a leak?

Either an injector is passing fuel through it internally and is draining back to the return, or its leaking around the orings up around the injector into the valve cover.
