I was thinking of buying a D6RLGP with a straight blade was a little scared about blade . Will be using it far Farm work digging ponds, brush clearing etc. Can you put a SU blade on this machine and how much would it cost? Would the straight blade work? it was 13' feet wide. How much is a used ripper 3 shank dozer has winch and I don't need this.

Welcome to the Forums JAB1!:drinkup Do you need an LGP? What kind of underfoot conditions will you be working in? Putting an SU blade on a LGP machine is going to wear the undercarriage out quicker - heavier load at the blade and more track pad on the ground which puts more stress on the UC and driveline. IMO rippers have no place on a LGP machine since LGP's are designed to work in soft underfoot conditions, running a LGP in conditions in which rippers are needed just wears the undercarriage out faster and adds unnecessary expense. You might want to look at an XW. It has a wider footprint than an XL but narrower than an LGP, it's an "in between" tractor. I had a D6R XW with SU blade and rippers and it was a very nice tractor.
