I have code on Caterpillar mini track loader model 289D. Code E568. Equipment SN: TAW04188. Code shows unexpected left motor forward speed detected.
What’s happening is the ECM compares the signal produced by the movement of the joystick with the resulting drive motor movement. If they are not in agreement with one another the “unexpected motor speed” Event pops up. The first step is to hook up ET and perform a recalibration of the Fwd & Rev solenoids on the hystat pump.
