hi i have a 1995 d5h xl the right brake started to chatter when i turn under load but seems ok other wise. the clutch works fine. where would i start looking for the problem any help would be great
Dont really know ,but with my D4 H I have had to adjust linkage to get brake to come on properly. Remember that the brakes are only released by oil pressure,and when you apply, brake you are releiving the pressure. Thus without engine running brakes are full on. The adjustment is prettty fine,as all in one lever [clutch brake] and one of my pet hates. Just another cost cutting by Cat. Nothing beats seperate clutch lever and foot operated brakes,just'' back steering ''alone makes them better. I daresay you know all this anyway. Regards
