Anyone every had a alternator putting out correct voltage, but battery not charging?:Banghead
I had a S300 once that did that, the customer changed the alternator and never hooked the cable from the alternator to the starter back up. Where are you measuring voltage, at the alt itself or at the battery? I would think it is a problem with the cables back to the battery, or the battery itself is shot.
I measured at Alt and Battery, Alt shows 14 volts apprx, battery never goes about 10 have changed battery a few times, dont think it is a battery or alt issue, maybe voltage regulator?
check your cables, ive seen battery cables that look fine, but are corroded internally :drinkup
