clarification: how do you reset the earthmoving machinery articulated frame support pin articulation. hello sorry if I ask. I was wondering how to restore the articulation joint support housing of articulated earthmoving machines such as scraper wheel loaders and others, how to repair and weld the parts. Is it necessary to completely disassemble it and repair and then reassemble or are there particular equipment and systems? Thanks, sorry for the inconvenience.

They are split and blocked up for machining

When things get sloppy, it all has to come apart. Bad bores are built up by welding and then machined back to original specifications. When that is done the machine is re-assembled and put back to work.

yes you'll see them split and pulled apart. Lots of big cribbing or welded in supports. Those jobs are not for everyone

On a scraper better make sure you double and triple check everything lines up. That was an expensive mistake to correct. (Luckily not me)

caterpillar 657G it was about repairing the joint of a 657 G caterpilla motor scraper, disassembling it and restoring the pivot joint that connects the tractor to the bucket box, just to be clear, thanks regards. https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=657 657G Scraper - Cat Certified Powertrain Rebuild https://puregoldfilms.com.au/projec...rtified-powertrain-rebuild-on-a-657g-scraper/
