Dear all, As part of transition to new technologies, Colombia is moving to Tier 4 emissions standar for all NRMM coming in to the country from August 2024. The issue that small companies are experiencing is that we are requested to provide the report of the engine emission test performed to the prototype of the engine family and this information is considered by manufacturers as classified. Even when we are able to get CARB and EPA certification, they still request this report or the Certification Summary Information which is also not public. Is there any way to get this kind of docs? It looks by now like a big trouble. Thank you all
And what country are said engines made in? You say prototype engine? That usually means some new experimental unit. So sure it may be a big secret. All you need I think is those spec's on a "production engine" not some special test engine that may never make it to market. So I don't know what your asking for here.
