My Komatsu d65 engine has been giving my problem and even my mechanics are confuse about what to do About it. While on site clearing we discovered that the engine change sound and white smoke coming out, we immediately off the engine and call the mechanic to come and have a check. He open the sump to check the crank shaft and the cone metal we discovered that the number one metal has been flat and also find out that there are particles in the engine oil, the metal made some mark on the cran shaft. Please what can cause all these fault?
Something is being lost in translation, not sure what "cone metal" means. Any chance you could post a picture or two?
