Looking at a 2016 D3 K2 LGP 929 hours of use in sand and possible seawater Looking for spec on width of flat on rear drive sprocket Looks like alot of wear for low hours I see More corrosion than i expected on fittings and hydraulic connections Also on seat frame etc Should i stay away from a sand/ saltwater machine
Yes. Actually run away from it. I sent 2 machines to Baldwin county AL 20 miles from the coast back in 2008 for a couple of months. It was amazing how much rust was on those 2 machines for years afterwards and they were not used in salt water.

If you buy a machine from a Northern state, keep an eye out for corrosion too. My D4k2 was a rental that came from Michigan, and had been used to push salt. It had quite a bit of corrosion for how new it was.
