:beatsmegot little problem on 1988 d5h i own the left steer clutch starts chattering like its slipping after it runs about an hour i pulled it and installed new clutches and piston seals but that didn't help any ideas would be very helpful
have u check hydraulic pressure to that clutch? PULL an oil sample of your final on that side, maybe eminnant failure there.
Did you check the springs?
Did you replace all of the clucthes? sometimes if you leave one or a few, because they might look good, but they could be kind of pollished and when they warm up they will slip and chatter
i have checked pressure its good according to book and i did install all new clutches it never makes a sound until u run it an hour or so
