I have a D5M with preheat which worked fine until I replaced the batteries. Now it doesn't come on until the engine is running which does help a lot to get the cold engine running smooth but sure would be nice to preheat before cranking. Any ideas what to check or look at? I really don't see what changing batteries would have to do with this as there is the electric disconnect switch which I always use. Serial# 3CR series. Thanks
