AKD00772 Will not go in forward or reverse. Doesn't sound like brake is engaging either. The big warning light came on before it stopped moving. Display screen says serv code but said this previously. Not sure how to look at code. Also noticed the battery light was on when running yesterday before this happened. Checked alternator and it's not charging. Not sure if this is tied in to the dozer not working. Would guess when the forward, reverse, and brake is flipped it sends an electrical signal to a valve(s). Would appreciate any help or advice.
IMO you need to get the alternator charging before moving forward. To get into the Monitor System to look at the Active Diagnostic Codes (SERV CODE) take a look at the Click Box THREAD , especially posts 50-52 on Page 3 that show how to McGyver the system to read the Codes if you don't have a Click Box. The 4-pin Monitor Service connector CONN 7 is located to the left and just behind the operator seat according to the electrical schematic. It is not far away from the 9-pin ET service connector CONN 8. I think it's the connector I circled below. For reference #11 is the 24/12v voltage converter.
Thank you for the quick response. Agree that alternator should be replaced first. Will do that first and then report back.
Just be aware that the charging issue may not be the alternator but that a wiring problem is also a possibility.
Great point. Checked b+ off alternator and getting 27+ volts but batteries are setting at 23.8.
Would you like an electrical schematic so that you can go tracing power.?
That would be perfect. Thank you.

When testing the voltage at the alternator, could not get the ground wire to ground the multimeter. Had to ground it to the alternator housing. Maybe never got down to bare metal.
That may be the problem. Alternator not grounding to frame.
Thanks. Will look into it further.
Charged batteries back up. Everything is working again. Battery light still on. Retested alternator and not producing voltage. Took off and will get tested/rebuilt tomorrow.
