What year did they finally get rid of that, arm wrecking blade control lever and pedals for the blade tilt? The D6c was a good machine for its size and pushed alot, its that lever that ruins it.
The early ones were worse with the left side tilt control pedal.
Around 1976.
Imagine having 2 or 3 of those levers. 2 for blade and rippers, 3 for blade and CCU. The thing is they worked well and were far more reliable than the electronic junk that's now in use.
It only got dropped in 1977 when the D6D came out
I don't understand them hanging on to that horrible lever so long, when all the larger dozers did it the right way?
