Good day, we have a cat d6h not moving forward or reverse, but the drive shaft is running. We already change the transmission pump, torque converter defective parts, filters and oils. Still the final drive is not moving. Thank you guys.
It started when we changed the filters and oils. After that the equipment doesnt move anymore. No fault warning
First question is do you have a Serial number? Second is "We already change the transmission pump, torque converter defective parts, filters and oils." what parts were replaced and why? Was there obvious damage to them and how about the magnetic strainer and screens?
S/N:4GG00474 MODEL 6H LGP ENGINE NO.: 3306DI-10Z18606 The transmission pump doesnt turn/work anymore, the mechanic checked the torque converter and advised us to replaced the following worn out seals and bearings.
How did you determine the transmission does not turn/work anymore? Has the magnetic filter and screen for pump be cleaned or inspected?
The operator toyed with the dozer and exchange the hose of the trans pump, the mechanic checked and said the trans pump doesnt work anymore. After that we changed the trans pump and the dozer can travel again back to our yard. After changing filters and oils the dozer cannot move anymore . At first the mechanic think that the new filters maybe the culprit, so he directly connect the flow of the trans pump without going to the filters, still the dozer cant move. So thats when we checked the torque converter.
