Thanks in advance

Try posting a machine Serial Number for a kickoff. You wouldn’t believe how easy it makes finding information. When was the powertrain oil and filter last changed.? Were the screens cleaned at the same time.? Have you looked at the oil recently.? Is it clear & bright or dark & cloudy.? Does it smell burned.?

Excellent. Just needed to check if there were 1, 2, or 3 screens in that particular power train. Turns out there is only one. See the attached. You need to remove and clean the screen & magnetic strainer inside #13. Also I suggest that you replace the breather element #16. It's located on the transmission fill tube about 6" below the fill cap. If you want an Operation & Maintenance Manual then search for Cat Publication SEBU6888. If you can't find one a pdf copy can be downloaded in less than 5 minutes from the Cat Publications web site for $52.

#20 is the Priority Valve. It is designed to ensure that there is sufficient oil to the brake system before supplying oil to the transmission and the rest of the powertrain.
