Any of you guys ever had a 240 Deere with a broken Engine Mount? Mine shakes at Idle and I found where one of the ears has broken off the frame, then I checked the other side and saw were the previous owner had welded it back.
How bad did it shake?
Pretty noticeable at low idle, but it would pretty much go away as soon as you rev'd it up. If your watching it idle, that alternator is moving back and forth pretty good. That engine only has 3 mounts, two under the radiator and one back near the hydro motors. Its the two under the radiator that seam to be the trouble. I was just curious if this was common, its not like I've got a bunch of hours on this machine, in fact its less than 2000.
