Have a 326D that does not disable the hydraulics when the cab door is open. Have verified the switch is working correctly with ohm meter. Any ideas on where to start looking? Machine functions fine just getting tired of replacing doors when operators lift the boom with the door open.
Check windshield wiper connector, that could be unplugged, door switch wires run through it.
That would definately do it, have the wiper unplugged to keep the switch from getting bumped and scratching the windshield when it is covered in mud.
Remove the wiper arm if you still want to prevent the door window from getting scratched when they bump the switch with a dirty window. Or keep window spotless. Simon C
