This is kind of an extentension of this thread What other equipment is rebadged under several different makes but is made by the same company Some that come to mind are: Takeuchi-Gehl crawler skid steers Liehberr-John Deere crawlers (1050 size and larger) Bell-John Deere 6x6 rock trucks Liehberr-John Deere crawler loaders Fiat-Hitachi-DC series New Holland dozers (up to 2004) Were these a Fiat built or New Holland built? Case-New Holland wheel loaders Case-New Holland dozers What other past or current "marriages" have occured in the heavy equipment industry?
The Deere/Bell 315SJ was what Bell got when they allowed Deere to use their design for the Artics.
weren't Deere skidloaders made by Mustang and then New holland before Deere started making their own?
Case 9030b=Sumitumo
Case 1221 loader made by hyundai and i am sure Case ADTs are manufactured by Astra iveco
JLG makes CAT TL series telescopic forklifts but they due have a CAT motor and a few small changes I see at the quick connect I see.
Hitatchi makes John Deere excavators and Mitsubishi Makes Cat excavators upto 320 size. Timberjack makes John Deere forestry equipment since the merger in 2001. Mustang never made the JD skids, just New Holland. Gehl makes some of the larger Mustang skids. Liehberr makes the frames and chassis or JD and thier own, but JD makes the hydraulics and powertrains for both lines. And try getting parts for a JD ATD, they have to come from South Africa. And Cat Challenger tractors are built CNH group. Some are built by NH and some by Case, but the small tractors are built by Massey Ferguson.
