Just finished resealing the control valve and pump spools(this pump has spools for control shafts). on a 1999 863F with AHC controls only about 2.5 gallons of oil where removed since the arms are up and tilt cylinder is extended. i've replenished the empty tank with about 2.5 gallons. During the reseal, I also replaced the main hydraulic filter and both inline hydraulic filter elements. should I somehow prime the system before starting? if so, how?
I doubt it, I've never had to but each machine is different.
