Just having picked up my JD310 I am in the process of changing out hoses and hydraulic filters....gonna do an engine oil change also. Was thinking that since this oil change is gonna cost about $70 with filter and oil, it may be best to pull the pan to inspect the lower end out, clean out the accumulated sludge at the bottom of the pan and replace the pan gasket. Any thoughts? Any thing I need to watch out for or difficulties in doing this, pulling bolts, etc. With the price of oil, I figure a few more dollars for a gasket may be worth it. Thanks for your help.
