Came across this the other day while perusing a John Deere blog. Pretty interesting stuff here. Anxious to see what all comes out of this.     I just had a class on tier4. We should be getting our first tier4 interim this month, a D6R and soon a 140M. Next year is Tier4. There is no away around this, it is here and we have to deal with it. We also have a service truck or two that are tier4, both have a cummins.

    If you look at it from the perspective that implementing these changes may help your kids and grandkids, its worth it. If it doesn't help them, the stuff sure is a pain in the backside to work on, and a true waste of time and money...but we got to try.
