does anybody know where to get parts for these things. i need a throttle cable thanks
Over here in ireland, we left our broken cable into a plae called cablecraft and they replicate it at a quater of the price of a main dealer one. They also put a grease nipple on it too, to help keep it free cause the old one had seized and had no grease nipple.
Your local Deere dealer should be able to get this. It takes a little research on their part on these machines, but they should be able to provide parts. Cablecraft is a good alternative. Another you could try is Vancouver Tracparts. If for some reason they can't get the cable, they might be able to tell you who to contact.
Many genaric Farm Supply shops make those cables. I had a throttle cable for a Ford F800 made for 75. Dealer wanted 300.00 and had to wait 3 days to get it in.
