Anybody know the pin diameter for the main bucket pin? (no quick change) I thought I read somewhere that it was 45mm? I'm building a thumb and I need to make a longer pin. Also, what grade of steel should the pin be? (something very strong I'm guessing.) Thanks.
Pin size should be 45mm. This machine should share the same stick specs as the current 45/50 machines. My company makes hard pins for the stick on many OEM machines and we use HRC 57, sometimes S43CHB micro-alloyed. You should try and chrome these if possible.
