Hi guys, Hoping some Kobelco experts can help me out here. A friend of mine's got a 2004 Fiat Kobelco E215B (this is the same as a Kobelco SK200-6 but with an Iveco/Cummins engine) I had a look and really everything else is identical to the straight Kobelcos. Basically the machine blew the engine and my friend replaced the engine. But ever since the machine has been extremely slow responding to stick inputs. For example it takes twice as long to do the same manoeuvres. We checked all the pressures and even rebuilt the pump cuz it was due one anyways and everything is ok and the machine can lift any kind of load you throw at it with teh one problem being very slow. The engine and everything is else is running ok. So my friend disconnected the electronics so you can run it manually and now it responds quicker but as soon as you plug all the electronics back the slowness returns. We are pretty stumped by this and hopefully someone can point us in teh right direction. I am thinking its some problem with the computer but dont wanna swap any computers without knowing where the problems lies. Thanks guys
Are you sure that the wires for psv1 and psv2 did not get switched around somehow? These are the coils on the pump govenors. If your trying to use pump 1 but the controller is turning on pump 2 that will make things slow. the plugs on the wire harness are the same. wes
Hi Grandkobelco Thanks for the advise. Checking it out asap. I am sure it would be awesome if it turns out to be just a case of swapped connectors! Thanks and fingers crossed.
