Hey guys: You may be interested in seeing how we pressed the turbine runners back onto the new shaft we made for our Leffel hydraulic turbine runners without a hydraulic press. The second runner got stuck about 4" down the bore and we had to lower the assembly to the ground and use a 30 ton hollow core ram to press it the rest of the way on. Pretty cool. We also use heat and liquid nitrogen to assemble pins and bushings and we also get them stuck before they are fully seated and that is a pain.
