i currently bought a ford 555 backhoe that was missing the alternator. The tractor has a high mount alternator bracket on it and also has AC. The AC belt is on, and there is a belt also for the water pump. What i can't figure out is the belt for the alternator the way the pulley lines up doesn't seem to match anything. I was hoping someone might have a drawing or knowledge of the proper way to run the belts.
Welcome To HEF, Anthony ! I don't know the way the belt is threaded on the pulleys. But I do know that the hydraulic pump coupling on the crankshaft has to be separated to put the correct belt on.
