Hello. I have a question for fuel consumption based on operation hours. For example, our 30 tonnage excavators use 30 liters/hr in our site. but I'm not sure that if those excavators will operate over 5~10yrs then fuel consumption remains similar. If you have an answer or official report for fuel consumption based on operation hours. Please share for me. Very thanks.
Good day postr Our experience tells us that the fuel consumption will gradually increase with age and use, the engine becomes less efficient. What is surprising the difference between production and cycling with empty bucket is very small. Todays excavators are inefficient way to move material, claims of reduced fuel consumption when the fuel is used to burn the exhaust residue is some what strange. May be the days of engines lasting 10-15000 hours has past us by. Kind regards Uffex
