Yup, on-road is $3.23 here also.

  4. #4T_S_S2007-10-29 22:46

That sounds prety expensive. Here we are at about a dollar a litre for on road diesel and offroad about 80cents a litre , and gas around 95 cents a litre. Does anyone know the conversion from litres to gallons?

  5. #5cat3202007-10-29 22:46

all it means is it will cost more to do bussiness and to buy goods that are trucked . so basically everything will be going up again.

  6. #6tylermckee2007-10-30 00:48

i just had to buy some on road at 3.65 a gallon ointhead

  7. #7dumptrucker2007-10-30 01:01

Your paying about 3.70 for on road and about 3.00 for off road.

  8. #8rino14942007-10-30 06:07

Now convert that to American money

  9. #9Electra_Glide2007-10-30 08:06

Ummm....right now $1 CDN is about $0.95 US, so the difference isn't that much. Joe

3.259 per gallon on road here. Was talking with guy today was saying that in MA off road went up .30 cents a gallon because it is now illeagal to run heating oil. Has to be low sulfer. So now there is heating oil, off road, and on road.:Banghead

  13. #13cat3202007-10-30 19:17

    Getting nuts and expensive ointhead

  15. #15Ross2007-10-31 14:47

Ha Ha Ha Ha. $3.65 a gallon. Try £1.03p a litre for size (DERV) Roughly 5 litres in a gallon. So ... £1.03 x 5 = £5.15p a Gallon So thats $10.71 a Gallon we pay here. Thats English Gallons which is about 5 litres. Any Question? Ross

  16. #16busdrivernine2007-10-31 20:14

    try 3.785 liters = 1 gal

  17. #17Ross2007-10-31 20:26

Thank you :drinkup I was unsure how many litres are in a US Gallon. $8.04 or so a Gallon. Bit better but still more than double. Ovcourse this is All TAX paid to the British Government. Just the way it is here Red Diesels Cheap as chips but again, TAX free. Ross

  18. #18busdrivernine2007-10-31 20:40

Road diesel her went up form $3.099 to $3.149 per gal today guess I should have fueled up before today but really hated to spend $500.00 guess now I will spend about $506.00 now

  19. #19pushcat2007-10-31 20:48

One reason it's going up around here is because they're probably switching to a winter blend. Don't know about the other side of the world.:beatsme

  20. #20PSDF3502007-10-31 21:30

Good theory but it has been going up far to ofton. Seems more like the rise in price is to line someones pocket.

  21. #21thejdman042007-11-01 20:11

Fuel Price Bad News I tremble to think about what else is tied to Fuel Prices. Lumber here has already jumped 20% since last week.

  30. #30Northart2007-12-06 05:16

Fuel Prices Oct 22-07 I paid $2.96 for #1 Home Heating oil, Today it is $3.25, a 10% increase in 40 +- days . Last May-07 it was $2.53. Lets not talk about the pharmaceutical industry either . It's the oil traders and speculators, driving the marketplace now, any disruption(news, fears) in the supply side , affects economies world wide ! Many of the producers ( countries) even say there is plenty of supply for the current market. Fundamentals of the marketplace , ....... well let's revisit history and the Hunt Bros attempt to corner the Silver Market. Look at the current debacle in the subprime mortgage loan industry . Lot of stuff is not normal from my viewpoint ! 23 ? USA Senators not running for reelection or retiring ! Big turnover there. Are we going to revisit the Great Depression ?? 1929? era. We are experiencing hyper inflation right now, whether people recognize it or not, similar to the prelude to WW2. Dunno, but that is my thoughts, maybe things will turn around for the better.

  31. #31jughead2007-12-06 06:37

On road is $3.39 this morning in S. Texas. I assure you everyone is feeling the pinch. All that can will go up on their prices as well. I get updated pricing weekly from my vendors. I doubt it but this may wake up some around here that are charging $70.00-$80.00 Hr. for a D5-D6 size machine!

  33. #33thejdman042007-12-06 13:32

    3.79 here for on road

  34. #34PSDF3502007-12-06 16:40

  36. #36Wolf2007-12-06 19:09

Just wait 'til we bomb Iran. We'll be paying $6.00. But it'll be great for the Bush family interests.
