Pictures taken from atop St. Paul's Cathedral. Too lazy to make the pictures small enough to attach so click the link to open them in a separate window. http://alhibma.smugmug.com/photos/213589475-L.jpg http://alhibma.smugmug.com/photos/213594856-L.jpg http://alhibma.smugmug.com/photos/213595182-L.jpg http://alhibma.smugmug.com/photos/213595541-L.jpg http://alhibma.smugmug.com/photos/213595955-L.jpg http://alhibma.smugmug.com/photos/213596422-L.jpg http://alhibma.smugmug.com/photos/213596867-L.jpg http://alhibma.smugmug.com/photos/213598065-L.jpg

Topping St. Paul How the heck did you get up on top of St. Pauls to take those pictures? Did you have a job up there?

Thanks for the comments on the photos. Was in London on vacation & huffed & puffed my way (I'm really out of shape) up the 500+ steps to get the top of St Paul's. Most interesting thing to see was the construction. http://maps.google.com/maps?q=N51.5...523,-0.098222&spn=0.004894,0.010096&z=17&om=1 Here's the GPS location of where I was standing. http://maps.google.com/maps?q=N51.5...896,-0.095318&spn=0.001224,0.002524&z=19&om=1 The construction is taking place here. http://alhibma.smugmug.com/photos/213592611-L.jpg Construction site in relationship to the surrounding area. Just a few cranes were up in the neighborhood.

Thats what all the city jobs are like! I worked there for 20 years! Did a lot of work for McGee! Same company who knocked down Wembley Stadium! Heres their flagship machine in action on the Twin Towers! 120 ton worth of Liebherr! They have a few tippers too!
