We had our pump rebuilt now we cant get anything but a drop of fuel out the lines when cranking over, was told there was no timing just R&R it nothing looks out of the ordinary here. anyone fimilare with this model that could shed some light here?
Do you have a pump model? What was the original reason for the rebuild? A pic of the pump? Does the pump have an expansion diaphragm on it? I have had to loosen them 1/2 turn before and then prime for awhile to get all of the air out. Is the rack adjusted/connected properly to ensure the cut-off is not restricting the flow?
injection pump should prime with the lines cracked open. sure your getting fuel to the pump? check the transfer pump just below the fuel filter housing, just follow the hose from the fuel tank. that transfer pump has a screen in it that gets clogged pretty often. just a Phillips head screw to pull the screen out
The transfer pump is by passed for some reason and a electric pump is in line, has alsways worked before yes getting fuel to the pump so dunno we haven't had time to work on it in the last few days so not much for an update, thanks for your post.
