I have a Genie Z60/34, serial Number 911 The jib is settling. I plugged the hose at the function manifold and the settling stopped. My function manifold does not look like the one in my parts book, and I am not sure how to proceed. Any help would be appreciated.
It sounds like the holding valve (counterbalance valve) for jib cylinder either has failed o-rings or the valve itself is faulty. You can contact Genie tech support, they can tell you which replacement part you need to order from a dealer. If Genie tells you the part number is 31106, the parts manual lists that counterbalance valve as a Sun Hydraulics CBBB-LNH.
