How does one go over a drop off that is high enough that the back of your tracks come off the ledge before the front of then touch the ground? It seems like if you did that then your counter weight would set down on the ledge and you would be in a pickle. Ive heard of folks taking cat 312's off 15 ft virtical drops witch is much longer than there tracks.

just track it off.....hold the front up on the dipper and let the back end slide down the heap..easy when you know how...but not good if you are new to the job....have faith in your machine it can't go anywhere unless you make it....good luck and always take care
