has anyone ever heard of this? just to posession of this piece trying to repair loader but nobody seems to know anything about it. it is late 80's or early 90's hanomag 70E. supposably equivallent to a 966 rubber tire. just looking for info on anybody that could help. thanks
I've heard of them, but only in passing. Most of the stuff I see is pretty old but appears to be made in Germany but is now part of Komatsu as of 1989. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hanomag
i have noticed that but called local komatsu dealer and they didn't know anything about hanomag either. in fact they had to look them up online to even know what i was talking about.
Might be typical for aisa, folks take over companies to obtain needed data and then discard what they don't want. My brother in-law works for a Japanies company and he says there is absolutly no original thinking. All thay want to do is use what has been developed and is the best so far. They go so far as put measuring tapes in their suit coats so when they are at a trade show they can measure what the compatition is doing. This could be a long story...... but there are 2 - 70E on Machinery trader. Other than that I have nothing, sorry.
