Good friend has a Fiat Allis 16B in CA, he is trying to find bevel gear components for it, a 16DP machine. Anyone here know of any large HE salvage companies with a number of the larger Allis units in them? We have General Gear in Boise and Chartrand Eq. in Redbud Il but no luck so far.

I reckon another option might be a Gear shop . Be interesting if they could reverse engineer & carve out a new bevel & pinion gear , and the cost ? With my luck the shop foreman would look at it scratching his head & say " I need to have the company owner look at this as we aint never done this before " LOL! http://www.rushgears.com/services/replacement-parts

The guy that owns it is in N California, he has a few p/n from the old ones and what should be replacements, I passed all this on to him. Minnpar was no help, he uses them a lot, he had other feelers out but has used those contacts noted above for now no returns but is the holiday so may not know until next week. Thanks td. His is actually a 16B series DP which has the FA front end on it, seems was something odd about the power shift trans in his.
