heater in 555b

Hello just got a 1989 555b. seems the tractor does not get up to temp runs right at 110 deg. want to make sure the heater works this winter. changed coolant filter,flushed the heater core. going to change thermostat next. what temp do this 555bs run at? does the heater work good it is a factory system. thx
