installed new stepping motor,,won`t throttle up does this have to be re programed?

Going to need more info. Is this a mark 3?, 4? Serial #? Why was the original stepping motor changed. Do you have a multimeter? There are some rpm adjustments to be made but you may need to do some electrical checks first. wes
