I have a 1999 Jcb 214 and when u put it in reverse it blows a 10 amp fuse and then it won’t move forward or backwards replace the fuse and it will go forward but when u shift it into reverse the fuse blows any ideas
You have a short in the wiring/coil/shifter between the reverse signal wire at the shifter and the reverse coil on the transmission. You can use a process of elimination to narrow this down by unplugging the reverse coil and see if it still blows a fuse. If it doesn't, then your coil is grounded out. If it still blows, the problem is the wiring or a internal shifter short.
Maybe backup alarm or wiring ??
YES! Could be that also.
