I have an 80 R model mack. I was tracking down an air leak when I was a supply line running to the valve on the exhause manifold, which in turn runs to the IP. This is where it gets wierd,,,, it is not a factory looking set up,, someone has added it, or changed it, and it only has air leaking through it when i charge the tractors brakes. Any thoughts? thanks all
Its a puff limiter. Will only allow the injection pump rack full travel when you have turbo boost. Its factory from Mack but most were removed years ago.
But why air charged to it when tractor brakes are charged ? How would I fix / remove this ?
