Hitachi 120ex 1990 model boom cylinder

I must be missing something, I stripped a 100 down for the undercarriage parts, and the cylinders had a threaded hole to pull pins out, got on the 120 to pull the boom cylinders and no threaded hole, what's the deal worth that, harder get them out for sure
