Hi guys, I currently looking for excavator and have been considering between this 2 excavator. The hitachi ex100m 1988 is a high clearance machine almost a big as a 200 type machine, and weight 12300kg. The ex120-5 1996 is a newer machine, weight 11800, more engine power and have a alot of electronic control inside which is troublesome except if I could find the -5Z ( non computerise system version ). Both are locally use for 6 yr machine, below is picture of ex100m next to a ex200 machine.
