Hello, Did a rebuild on the center joint of a Hitachi EX160LC-5 excavator and noticed everything stiffened up which was wonderful but lost my swing from side to side after approx 2 weeks after rebuild. thinking pressure valve but not sure. I did not change the swash plate by end cap on center joint as someone mentioned earlier. everything else works good but had an issue with it changing track speeds before but not as frequent as now. Thoughts? Thanks
swing does not pass through the center swivel, so I would not attribute the problem to that directly. Perhaps some debris made its way to the control?
will check hydraulic filters and go from there. Thank you!
